September 10, 2020 - If you come across on YouTube a talented Filipino Boy Group who have made noise both in social and traditional media, you've just encountered these boys who made waves and broke the music scene since last year. They've brought different flavor to the music that is fresh to the ears of Filipinos and international audience. If you don't know them, it's a perfect time to listen to their songs and support them in any way you can.
SB19 had their debut since October 2018 with their single "Tilaluha". Although they weren't known that time, they've already been groomed to be a successful group that will soon break the norm of what we always listen. 4 years in the training is not a joke with no pay but just pure hard work, passion and determination to be in the entertainment industry as an artist.
But one fateful night changed their fortune as their second single 'Go Up' dance practice went viral, thanks to one Twitter user who made it possible. This showed their synchronicity, precision with their dance and to their surprise, they were an instant hit! And they deserve such recognition as not they only show how great they are, they also show humility, respect, and kindness to everyone. Ever since that dance practice, shows and guesting piled up left and right, with little to no amount of rest. It may seem exhausting but it's counted as blessings for them.
In every guesting they went to, they always mention how hard their training was to the point of giving up since everything was not working but with their conviction to be in the industry they so long to be part of, they pulled everything off and it was worth it. Now, we're seeing them everywhere, fans are growing, ever so supportive in every way possible.
When they named their fans 'A'Tin', it was a cherry on top of the cake like finally, they now have A'Tin that will love them through and through till the end. Now, why support these boys? Here are the reasons why:
1.) Talent - They scream talent. All of them are great dancers and they're capable of doing dance covers with accuracy and close to the original. What sets them apart is they give their own flavor to it. Perfect examples are their BTS, Bigbang and iKON dance covers which they gave it their own spin by adding dance breaks, etc. When it comes to singing and rapping, again, they also have that in the bag. From the main vocal down to the rappers who are more than capable of singing other artist's songs but make their own arrangement to it!
2.) Wonderful personality - These boys have diverse personalities that everyone will love and laugh because they're naturally funny without trying! They're being adored both fans and casual viewers for them being so real with no pretentions and they would just say they want to say. Their personalities are showcased more in their vlogs on YouTube which the viewers will fall in love so much more. Watch them and you'll see why.
3.) Hardworkers - We know they are hardworking people but it's exactly the reason why they are in this music industry. With their work ethics, professionalism, perseverance, they wouldn't be where they are if not for those things that they have. They truly deserve the achievements they have right now which it leads to:
4.) Achievements - Imagine, since last year, they've achieved so much, received awards and accolades to their name and their songs which brought them fame both online and award-giving bodies. Either being voted by the members of the board or their fans, their awards speak louder and it'll just speak for themselves.
5.) Songs - Of course, SB19 wouldn't be known who they are if not for their songs that are beautifully composed and written. Their main songwriter is Sejun or John Paulo Nase which is an intelligent lyricist that could make a song that breaks the heart or uplifts people. Without his wittiness and intelligence to create such lyrics, there would be no beautiful songs from him.
6.) GITZ Album - Why support these boys? Well, their album says it all. The songs in the album is the reason why SB19 deserves so much support at this moment. For over 2 years since their debut, they've compiled all of their songs in their debut album which it has 9 tracks including two instrumentals. As of this moment, they've received tons of guesting despite the pandemic that the whole world is going through. The thing is, even the pandemic can't stop these boys from achieving more blessings in their life. Even though everything is online, it didn't stop them from being recognized all over the world and now everyone is curious about them as they've been a mainstay on Billboard Charts Social 50 for weeks. All eyes are on them and what they can deliver to the listeners around the world. We're pretty sure they can conquer more than what they have now and it's the perfect time to support them further.
